Lower Hutt Events Centre is a new purpose-built venue in the heart of the Wellington region. The unique multi-purpose design of Lower Hutt Events Centre is ideal for small to medium meetings, large scale events or exclusive use of the entire building.

The Event Space venue is our largest venue and offers flexibility to divide into two sections, ideal for Conference Venues Wellington-Lower Hutt Conference Centre that require separate areas for catering, exhibition trade booths, Conference Venues Wellington-Lower Hutt Conference Centre and break out rooms. The abundant natural light provides stunning views of picturesque Riddiford Garden.

Lower Hutt Town Hall has been refurbished to its 1950’s heritage character and is a traditional spacious auditorium ideal for Conference Venues Wellington-Lower Hutt Conference Centre, performances and seminars. This venue can seat 800 theatre style (balcony & auditorium) or make use of the adaptable auditorium floor space and use it for a workshop, exhibition or unique dining experience.

Three first floor meeting rooms offer a venue hire option for small to medium sized meetings, Conference Venues Wellington-Lower Hutt Conference Centre, workshops and training seminars. The north facing rooms look out over Dowse square providing natural light and a scenic city outlook.

LHEC is dedicated to deliver a ‘No Regrets’ Booking Policy. Should your future event be affected by COVID-19 restrictions (Level 2+) there will be no cancellation penalties. Bookings can be transferred at no charge to a postponement date or deposits paid will be refunded.
