LHEC is committed to the New Zealand Events Sector Voluntary Code

We want to assure all clients and guests that the team here at Lower Hutt Events Centre are taking all necessary precautions in our commitment to the voluntary New Zealand Events Sector COVID Code as prepared in collaboration with CINZ, ETNZ, EVANZ, NZEA, NZPA and MPI.

  • Commitment to COVID-19 Ministry of Health guidance for meetings, events and catering
  • Enable effective contact tracing and retain attendance records
  • Health and hygiene resources of operators and attendees
  • Encourage a culture of adhering to best practice COVID-19 risk management amongst staff and clients

LHEC is dedicated to deliver a ‘No Regrets’ Booking Policy. Should your future event be affected by COVID-19 restrictions (Level 2+) there will be no cancellation penalties. Bookings can be transferred at no charge to a postponement date or deposits paid will be refunded.
