The Lower Hutt Events Centre is only 20 minutes drive from Central Wellington.
From Wellington
Exit Wellington via SH2 keeping to the right two lanes on the Harbour side of the motorway. Drive for 12 minutes (off peak and 20 minutes during peak hour) past the Petone off ramp and take the next exit (Maungaraki). Then turn right at the roundabout into Lower Hutt.
Continue in the right lane onto Hutt Road and follow up and over the Ewen bridge taking a right at the roundabout onto Woburn Road. Continue for 200m and turn left on to Myrtle Street. Drive 500m and take the first left to reach the Lower Hutt Events Centre.
Arriving from the North on SH1
On SH1 at Pukerua Bay continue for a further 6km and then turn left at the traffic lights onto Grays Road. Follow the winding Grays Road for 6km and turn right onto Paekakariki Hill Road. Continue onto SH58 for 10km until you arrive at the Manor Park intersection – turn right onto SH2.
Continue for 8km and take a left into Lower Hutt using the bridge. Turn right at the second roundabout onto High St and drive 900m before taking the 3rd turnoff on your left onto Laings road. Drive 250m along and the Lower Hutt Events centre will be to your right.
